Kate Lamb graduated with a degree in International Relations and English Literature from the University of New South Wales before fusing her two passions into journalism. After completing a Masters in the latter at the University of Technology, Sydney, Kate has been based in Jakarta, Indonesia, for the past three years where she reports for the LA Times, Voice of America and Global Post. Inspired by the dynamic growth and rapidly changing face of Asia, Kate focuses on issues such as terrorism, regional border security and piracy, sectarian violence and how the world’s most-populous Muslim nation is grappling with a boisterous democracy. With a keen interest in capital markets, Kate is closely observing the global economic center of gravity shift East.
