Arifin PanigoroFounder of Medco Group

Arifin Panigoro is the founder of the Medco Group, an energy company operating in Indonesia, North America, the Middle East, and Africa. He started Medco in the early 1980s and has managed it to become one of the very few Indonesian corporations operating globally. He has also been known as an activist since his university student years in the late 1960s, and has served as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PDIP Party (1999- 2005).
